Cory Horton, Pastor
Cory began serving as Pastor of Elkdale on May 2, 2010.  He loves to teach the Bible knowing that it is ordained by God to change lives.  Cory is leading the church as it becomes an Acts 1:8 champion taking the Gospel to our city, state, country, and to the ends of the earth.  Cory is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity.  He and his wife, Wendy, have three children, Cade (born 2007), Emma (born 2009), and Addie (born 2011).

Guy Anderson, Minister of Music & Senior Adults
Guy keeps the Senior Adults hopping and the Music Ministry outstanding at Elkdale. He came here from First Baptist Chalkville, where he served for 19 years. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Guy Anderson and his wife, Debbie, have been serving at Elkdale since 1995. 

Bob Frazer, Minister to Students & Education
Bob began serving as interim student minister in August of 2000.  In October of 2001 he was called as the full-time student Minister.  In January of 2007 the role of Minister of Education was added to his position.  Bob is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. He and his wife, Mary Beth, have two children: Barron (born 2006) and Mary Emily(born 2008).

Kim Lewis, Minister to Children & Preschoolers
Kim has been involved in Children's Ministry for over 15 years. Her vision for the Children's Ministry at Elkdale is a safe, fun place to learn about God and how awesome He is and to help children develop a growing relationship with God's Son, Jesus. Kim has been married to her husband, Philip, for over 21 years. They have 2 children: Kyle and Sarah-Callin both who are in college.

 

Debbie has been in this role since 2006.  She is a tremendous asset.  She is an active member and leader in the local Nazarene church.  We are very blessed to have Debbie on board, she cares about all of Elkdale as if they were her own.  She is married to Jerry and they have 3 children:  Kellyv(Levi), Ryan, & Laurav(Josh).

 

Linda came to Elkdale in the fall of 2008.  She does a wonderful job and is a real joy to be around.  She is extremely caring and encouraging.  She is a member of Elkdale and is a part of the Grace Sunday School Class.  She is married to Robert and they have one child, Rhonda (Jonathan).
